Vacuum, Power Wash, and Mop All Floors
If you have carpet in your home, of course, vacuum, but shampooing your carpet every once in a while can also help clean the air in your home. Just like dust on a hard surface, a dirty carpet traps unwanted bacteria and particles that may make your home feel “stuffy.” Any smells such as food, pet, or regular everyday odors may also get trapped in your carpet. For the best deep cleaning method on hard-surface floors, sweep or Swiffer, then use very hot water with a sanitizing product to get rid of dirt and bacteria.

Start by emptying the pantry, checking expiration dates, and cleaning the shelves. Group similar items together, such as canned goods, grains, spices, and snacks, and use stylish, clear, airtight containers to keep dry goods fresh and visible.
