We’re all aware of the beauty in the Coastal Interior Design style, but what if we want to mix it up a bit and make it….Vintage. The Vintage Coastal Interior style often gets overlooked, and I’m most certain that many people don’t know much about it; hopefully this post brings more attention to the style <3
Vintage Coastal is a mix of Victorian, Dark (or light) Academia, and Coastal Interior styles. The idea of this style is to make you feel like– it’s currently 1864, you’re a writer or an artist, and you live in a gorgeous beachfront home! Vintage Ship Models

Vintage ship models are a must if you’re trying to showcase the Vintage Coastal interior style. You can either purchase one that is already made from a vintage handcraft shop (like the first image on the left), or purchase a ship model kit if opting for the least expensive option. Ship models are the perfect decor items to give your home an artsy/museum feel!

Besides the ‘must-have’ vintage ship decor, items such as ship wheels, anchors, and compasses are just as important! Miniature versions of the items will be perfect for coffee table decor, while larger decorative items will be great for wall decor.
